Couple weeks back had a chance to get dad, grandpa and Jenny out on the Middle F of the S. Platte. Dad's first fish on his cane was the biggest of the day. He was pretty stoked. Jenny took some great shots that I'll post shortly. Everybody had a good time. Lots of cane in action.

Dad's first fish on his new cane rod
Had a chance to take one of my cousin's kids fishing. We got about 10 to hand on the fly in 3 hours. He even managed to land a bow, brown and brookie in the little stream near Copper Mtn. He was very proud. I'm going to pass along the first graphite rod I built (17 years ago). Slow 7'9" 3 wt that will be perfect for Texas bluegill at his home.
